Dear Partners and Friends,

First, congratulations to Vulcan's Forge on his big win yesterday at Belmont.

Dear Partners and Friends,

Day Three at Keeneland was another tough one that saw us coming away with two of the four horses we were interested in.

Dear Partners and Friends,

Many of you have been reserving space in Derby Dreams IX even though we haven't sent out details. So here you go...the details!

Dear Partners and Friends,

It took one full sales day and the early stage of another, but Donegal Racing is on the board at the Keeneland/September sale.

Dear Partners and Friends,

That's right we are back again! We just purchased Hip #257, a colt by Tiznow out of a mare by Pulpit. How is the breeding? Well, this colt's mother is a full sister to TAPIT! Not a misprint. TAPIT.

Dear Partners and Friends,

Yesterday we learned that IRISH FREEDOM sustained an injury to his P-1 also know as his Proximal Phalanx or "long pastern bone".

Dear Partners and Friends,

The next 30 days will be, dare I say, HUGE for Donegal Racing!

Here are the specifics:

Dear Partners and Friends,

FINAL WEEK AT SARATOGA

We have rooms available from now to the end of the meet on Labor Day. Please let us know if you want to come stay.

Dear Partners and Friends,

Remember this email headline from last Tuesday: Better Week Ahead!

Dear Partners and Friends,

As the horses in Finn's race approached the first turn in yesterday's race they were going so slow the race announcer said, "Molasses could be leading this group." And he was right. I thought Finn had no hope and that was even BEFORE he had to go five wide turning for home.
