Paddy O'Prado Represented by First Winner

Shesthewinner became the first winner for grade I winner and classic-placed Paddy O'Prado when the 2-year-old filly won the fifth race atGulfstream Park June 25 (VIDEO).
Sent off at 25-1 in the five-furlong maiden claimer, Shesthewinner tracked the early pace along the inside, moved up along the rail in the turn, and moved through a narrow opening at the sixteenth pole for a game neck victory.
Produced from the Vicar mare White She Devil, Shesthewinner was bred in Kentucky by Machmer Hall and is trained by Gennadi Dorochenko for Raut LLC. Raut purchased the filly for $3,000 from the Brookdale Sales consignment to the 2014 Keeneland September yearling sale.
Shesthewinner was previously purchased by John Glenny for $30,000 from the Select Sales consignment to the 2013 Keeneland November mixed sale.
Paddy O'Prado won five graded stakes, including the Secretariat Stakes (gr. IT), and finished third in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum Brands (gr. I). He stands at Spendthrift Farm near Lexington where his 2015 fee was $9,000.
