Irish You Well Storms Home for Fourth in Haskell

Irish You Well finished 4^th at the Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park on July 27^th, beaten by 9 lengths. 

He ran very well and had to overcome several obstacles that hindered a better placing. The pace of the race was much slower than it should have been. If the runners up front had run a bit quicker Irish’s position at the back would have been a much better spot, but they didn't and he had to run wide into fractions that weren't conducive to closing runners on a speed favoring track.Yet, Irish still came with a bold run on the outside and ran the 2^nd best race of any horse in the field.
