I talked to Emily Dawson at Kinsman Stud (Ocala) where ARKLOW is turned out for two months in the sun and Emily said he is loving it!

We will let the big fella rest until early February and then put him back in training for either/or a start at Keeneland or Belmont.

He will run him again soon. We expect he should be able to win in the right spot.

Ceant

Her last race was a mystery; however, something tells me she will return to form next out.

Shamrocket

He has been training forwardly with Todd Pletcher in Florida (he is a Florida bred). Because he is eligible for NWI other than as a Florida Bred he could be tough to beat. The only issue is that he will have to run at shorter distances than he prefers. We are shooting for December 23 for his next start.

Abarta

ABARTA (a beautifully bred Into Mischief colt) has shown us flashes of brilliance which earned him a spot in the Breeders' Cup. We gave him a month off and he is now back in training. We will try this colt on dirt at some point and if he handles it he could be a big race contender for Donegal.

Code Duello

CODE DUELLO is an Honor Code colt and figured to be slower maturing. That seems to be in his past as he breezed five furlongs at Churchill Downs this past week in 59:80. That was the second fastest of twelve and if he breezes like that another time or two he will be ready for the races. CODE's broodmare sire, Rubiano, was a synthetic standout and so we may try this lad on the polytrack at Turfway first out.

Donegal Bay

DONEGAL BAY got all of our engines revved up for his most recent start. The numbers are impressive. 12.5 Ragozin and 83 Beyer. That compares quite favorably with the top two year old numbers. Todd says he will get nothing but better as the races get longer. DONEGAL BAY's Beyer figure was 7th best of the top 20 Derby Derby point horses and 6th best Ragozin number. Is it a little premature to be putting the label "Derby Horse" on this colt? Of course it is. But it what we all love to dream about! Currently 60-1 on Derby futures!

The Big Irishman
