The Travers at Saratoga

Partners and Friends,

Some weekend updates for those of you attending. Please read the entire email carefully.

First, Saratoga is brimming with excitement! In a somewhat unprecedented development, NBC (which will carry the race live), CBS, ABC and ESPN are ALL covering the Travers even though only NBC can show it live. I have never heard of such a thing.

If you plan to attend our post race party Saturday please let the office know ASAP for food and beverage purposes.

In addition to dinner we will have beer, soda and water available. If you would like wine or spirits please bring them.

We have just a handful of extra race tickets for Friday and Sunday. Let us know if you are interested.

We get calls from people who still have Travers tickets for sale so let us know if you need Saturday tickets and we will try to help, but no promises.

IMPORTANT: Because of a family wedding I will NOT be in Saratoga Thursday/Friday/Saturday a.m. If you have needs you should call Nick Mauro (515-306-1379) or Ray Smith (515-556-5204) with any questions.

We have let most of you know about your allocation of paddock passes. Please come to Donegal House (73 Union Ave.; For sale sign on parking area) Friday after the races between 6 and 7:30 to pick up your paddock passes, lanyards, Keen Ice badges and Keen Ice hats.

If you cannot come on Friday evening let Nick Mauro know you will be stopping by on Saturday between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. to pick them up. Those are the only two times for paddock pass distribution.
