Dear Partners and Friends,

This morning I received a call from Paul Murans. Paul, who lives in Indianapolis and is a huge Colts fan, says that when you send athletes to the Northeast you get cheated.

This got me to thinking that with the Grade II, $400,000 Holy Bull Stakes this Saturday at Gulfstream Park, we should stay home and run there rather than taking the chance of getting cheated at Aqueduct on February 7. So we are. (Okay, maybe I had this idea before the Patriots cheated the Colts, but it is fun to blame it on Paul).

We will have more information (and some back story) soon, but wanted you to have the earliest possible notice. Let us know ASAP if you plan to attend and how many so we can make arrangements.

Let's hope that come Saturday neither Paul nor Keen Ice have soft balls. (A reference to the "cheating" incident for those of  you who don't follow the NFL).
