Million Dollar Homebred!

Dear Partners and Friends,

Finnegan's Wake was a homebred raised by Matt Gannon and myself. We sold him to Donegal Derby Dreams III for $30,000. Finnegan has earned a little over $635,000 and has been a very steady campaigner.

Now we have sold 60% of Finnegan for $300,000, bringing his earnings for DDIII to nearly a MILLION dollars. The neat thing is that we still own 40% of him!

Finnegan will now be majority owned by Rockingham Ranch in California and will race with Peter Miller on the West Coast. There are three mile and a quarter graded stakes coming up at Santa Anita they think he will fit very well. Not only will Donegal earn 40% of the purses, but the value of PUCA (DDVI) will go up every time Finnegan does well in a graded stake. (And FYI: Bill Mott thinks PUCA is ready to win his next out).
