Let the Good Times Roll!

Dear Partners and Friends,

Donegal followed up the huge win by Danny Boy at Ellis on Friday with a strong second by Eirigh in Canada on Saturday.

Next up is two year old Brother O'Connell on Thursday here at Saratoga. Under the care of Christophe Clement there is plenty of reason to be excited about this colt. While he may well need more distance than the mile and a sixteenth he gets on Thursday, he could not be doing better and has matured physically more than any other two year old.

For those who will be in Saratoga for the races this Thursday, please let us know what you need ASAP. Also let us know if you would like to stop by the house for Pizza Thursday evening. Mama Gillman is in town making sure everything goes smoothly. Mrs. G. is our unofficial house mother keeping Conor "the wee Irishman" Foley in line as well as keeping a close eye on Mayor Ray Smith to make sure he doesn't head to the Dairy House when no one is watcing.

Tonight the sale begins. As of this writing we only have three horses left on our list and we haven't even finished the vet work yet. A disappointing sale where I believe folks will waste a lot of money. Conor Crawford, Frank Smith, Dale Romans and the aforementioned Wee Irishman have all been a big help at the sale. If you haven't visited us during a sale you should as it is both educational and entertaining. Oh yeah, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears too!

On a more serious but happy note, Wayne Catalano is out of his coma. More soon on Wayne.

Let's keep this mo-jo going!

Jerry
