To Keeneland or Not to Keeneland

Dear Partners and Friends,

We are as eager as you to know whether we will get Keen Ice into the Grade I Futurity (Win and You're In; Breeders' Cup) on Saturday, October 4 and then Danny Boy in the Grade I Bourbon (Win and You're In; Breeders' Cup) on Sunday, October 5. We will also enter La Macchina on October 4.

I am writing because we need to figure out how many of you are likely to come if one or more of our two year olds gets to run.

You also need to get your hotel rooms. There are still quite a few rooms in Lexington, beginning with the Hyatt Regency and moving down the food chain from there. Or if you prefer a specific brand of hotel, you can go a little ways out of town.

South Carolina is playing football at Kentucky and that is the reason for the bottleneck.

One thing I AM sure of, is that both of our colts are live in their respective Grade I's if they get in. Keen Ice is training like a monster. Think Dullahan before he won the Futurity when he was two.

Please let Alex know if you are a yes or a maybe and we will start making arrangements. And you can start finding hotel space.

Jerry
