A Great Story!

Dear Partners and Friends,

I am sending along an email we received from the folks who bred and raised our new Curlin colt. Sure makes him a "favorite" right out of the gate!

Dear Donegal,

Hello! We wanted to wish you the best of luck with the 13 Royal Tigress/Curlin colt. My husband is the broodmare manager for Dixiana Farm, who bred and raised him. His dam broke her pelvis and then colicked, causing her to be in the clinic for a really long time during the last part of her pregnancy. They tried hard to save her, as she was a very nice mare, but it was too much stress on her body and they had to put her down after she delivered "Resurrection" (as we call him) on Easter Sunday. He grew into one nice yearling, and we are happy he has gone to a great racing home. Attached are a few foal photos of him and his nurse mare, he was such a ham. Enjoy and happy racing!!
