Dr. K'eogh Needs a Nurse!

October 3, 2014

Dear Partners and Friends,

Dr. Keogh's jockey...(Cornelio Velasquez proving I do have dementia) said he absolutely hated the grass. Couldn't grab it. So, back to the dirt where he worked well. We'll either find out he is meant for dirt or not meant for us. Sooner the better, either way.

Which reminds me of PUCA. (Most everything has the last 48 hours).

Updates: PUCA now has one of the five best two year old filly Beyers at 80. Only one of the other four was around two turns, and sprint numbers are always better. ALL of the others ran on performance enhancing lasix, and PUCA did not.

Look for PUCA in a black type opportunity in her next out.

Many of you have asked me about betting on Keen Ice and Danny Boy this weekend. Here is all I can tell you: they both are doing very well and they both fit in these races. I suspect both will be generous prices. One handicapper listed Keen Ice as the only horse without a chance to win. In my case, the higher the odds, the more I bet. So I will be checking the odds board before firing.

These two races aren't the end goal (Derby Dreamers), but they are damned big opportunities. Enjoy!

Jerry
