Designer Problem on February 21

Dear Partners and Friends,

With Puca and Danny Boy running in Grade II qualifying races for the Oaks and Derby at Gulfstream, and Irish You Well and Keen Ice running in Stakes (Derby prep for Ice) at Fair Grounds in New Orleans, we all wish we could clone ourselves. We can't, so Donegal Nation will have groups at each. 

I am headed to New Orleans. Joe Savage is our likely Donegal Captain in Florida (some guys will do anything to miss Boston snowstorms).

Now, these are two huge days of racing and you have to do us a favor ASAP (today if possible). Tell us if you are coming. And if yes, whether to Gulfstream or Fair Grounds. We were nearly shut out of seats at Santa Anita last weekend because we didn't have our arrangements made soon enough. From now forward we have to know two weeks ahead to do our best by all of you.

THE BIG WIND. Dr. Sandy correctly points out that I forgot to mention the fine effort by The Big Wind last Saturday. Running against a quality field and conceding experience to most, TBW gave a great account of himself. Was he green? Sure. Did he need a race? Absolutely. Do we like him to run big next out. YouBETcha.
