Paddy O'Prodigy & Patrick's Day

Paddy O'Prodigy (Paddy O'Prado out of Lyphard's Wish mare)

Paddy Jr. got more votes from both Donegal visitors AND staff than any other horse. Some sentimentality? Of course. But when you see him you are going to gasp at the size, power and presence of this man (can't call him a boy). On the track this guy's stride is massive and he keeps up with workmates barely breaking into a gallop.

Paddy is a pure turf prospect and we don't know yet what kind of stamina Paddy Sr. will put in his progeny, but whatever it is this guy is going to cover a lot of ground with each stride. I expect him to go to the track in June and race in September. We don't want to push him given his size.

Patrick's Day (Harlan's Holiday out of Gone West mare)

Another great looking prospect. This colt is going to have tremendous stamina and quality. He literally floats across the ground. Like this year's Harlan's Holiday, Danny Boy, Patrick's Day should prefer dirt but will not mind turf either.

I expect Patrick's Day to go to the track in June and race in August/September.
