On the Board!

Dear Partners and Friends,

Derby Dreams VII is born!

Today we purchased hip number 445, a Candy Ride colt out of an A.P. Indy mare. Price of $340,000. Conor Crawford and I set a limit of $350,000 and so we were sweating bullets at the end of the bidding. The owner of sub-zero refrigeration was one of the primary under-bidders.

This is an outstanding colt with a terrific pedigree. This was Frank Smith's number one choice and ranked high for our entire team. The stamina and class markers are all there with a terrific cardio and vet report.

So let the naming begin! Candy Ride. A. P. Indy. A. P. Double Cat. All are names in play to work with.

Keep your fingers crossed as we will be tracking several more today and tomorrow.

Jerry

P.S. Judi: No cat names please ;)
