Brother oh Brother!
Dear Partners and Friends,
With many of the Donegal faithful watching on television at Churchill Downs and many more watching around the country, Brother O'Connell just did a very nice job in winning at Belmont and beating a very nice horse of Chad Brown's and another trained by Christophe Clement.
Brother paid $9.40 for his efforts and created a nice pay day for Donegal as well.
Manny Franco gave the horse as fine a ride (defined as he did what we told him :) as we have had in a long, long time. Great training job by Tom Morley who hasn't injected a single joint on this horse since he began training him.
Proud of the job done by all and now we can enter Derby Weekend with a smile on our faces.
Yours truly likes Weep No More with Land and Sea in the Oaks and Gun Runner with Suddenbreakingnews in the Derby. We will also support hometown favorite Brody's Cause who will be more than a fair price.
We will send around a few other folk's picks tomorrow.
