Finnegan Again Again

Yesterday we talked about Keen Ice. Today, a quick look at Finnegan's race, The Manhattan.

Finnegan comes into the race as the second choice to Twilight Escape, with Finn at 4-1. Finn will be styling in his Donegal silks again tomorrow.

Peter Miller is as bullish about Finn as Dale Romans is about Keen Ice. Miller says Finn has never trained better for a race since he has had him. When I met with Victor Espinoza to discuss the race today he said, "What's to discuss? Settle in, come running, win!" I had trouble arguing with that assessment ;).

I think this is the bottom line: Both of our horses are doing as well as possible. We are running in two of the biggest races of the year. What's not to like?!
